It’s About World Class Value
We’re all about partnerships with people who bring world class value to our customers. Our philosophy might be a little odd given our industry, but we feel that there should be more to a relationship between people than just an authorization to purchase from them. In the technology world, you’ll typically find companies claiming they have partners flying out the wazoo. The reality is that the vast majority of these relationships are nothing ore than companies they simply buy from.
Anybody can buy kit. There’s no shortage of equipment vendors, software companies and service people who are drooling at the thought of selling us something. In any given week, we receive no less than fifteen phone calls from various vendors wondering how we can “partner up” and “bring value to our customers”.
Call us crazy, but we decided a long time ago we weren’t going to play that game. Partnerships for us are like relationships with friends; they have to bring value to us and our customers, and must be with companies whom we can help equally. We have a strict policy of confidentiality and we don’t sell our customers information to the big vendors (an industry practice for years). We become invested internally in our partners success and work with them to develop their products and services in ways they never thought possible. The vendors we have partnered with are companies that share the same ideas as we do. They are the companies that refuse to lower quality to make a sale, the ones who fight on behalf of their customers, and who never put their vendors interests above their clients.
Oh, and another thing. We’re vendor agnostic. Yeah, everyone says it, but we can actually prove it. The “kickbacks” that get used to persuade us to purchase from any specific vendor are thrown into a charity slush fund and given to those in real need. Our profitability is based on relationships with our clients (and the amazing up-time they experience). It will never be based on strategic alliances, the sale of personal information, or rigged deal registration programs. You can hold each and every person in MI to it. We promise.
